On the 30th September, 2021 Orphan Outreach supporters kindly funded school uniforms for some of the children who desperately needed new school sweaters, dresses, shirts and shorts. 

 

In total 35 pairs of shorts, 20 dresses, 12 shirts and 20 sweaters were distributed to those children who had been identified as being most in need of a new school uniform. 

 

The school dresses, shirts and shorts are all made by the women of the Patmos Women's Tailoring Group (PWTG) which is an income generating initiative that was set up many years ago by some of the parents/guardians of children at the school. 

 

The sweaters are knitted by a local lady who lives in Mathare providing her with much needed income.
