FUNDRAISING IDEAS
Organise a fundraising event of your own: By organising an event that will raise funds for Patmos School you will be directly helping orphans and vulnerable children in Mathare.
Sell your unwanted goods at work, at a car boot sale or in your garden.
Host a dinner party or hold a party at Christmas, Easter or Halloween and ask your guests to make a donation.
Hold a sponsored ‘give it up’ event whereby you give up something for a while – shaving, watching tv or even Facebook, you could even get sponsored to keep quiet for a day.
Host a coffee morning, bake cakes and encourage people in your community to come along and support the cause.
Hold a quiz night and invite friends and neighbours to come along and pay £2 to enter and divide the earnings, half for the winning team and half for Patmos School.
Offer to clean people’s cars or mow their lawns.
Celebrate your birthday or a special occasion and in lieu of gifts, ask your friends and family to make a donation to Patmos School.

Tell your family and friends about us and ‘spread the word’.
